Hey guys! How's life? So after Yana and Tasneem persuade me to write an entry about my recent trip to Yogyakarta, Indonesia, I decided to give myself a chance to try lol. This entry will be mixed up because I am planning to write in both language which is Bahasa Melayu and also English. I know some of you are interested on my trip to Alexandria and Istanbul but that was like almost 2 years ago... so.. if you guys want me to blog about the trip comment down below okay? Moving on, I went there for 4 days and 3 nights after I received my SPM results. At first, when I got to know that I am going there my jaw drops hahahaha. It is literally because I had this place in mind for years ever since I studied History in Form 1. During that period of time, frankly speaking I conteng my textbook and wrote "kena ajak babah pergi ni!" The eagerness of going grew stronger when I was in Form 4. My History teacher requested the whole 503 to draw the monument (I threw it already if I'm not mistaken? lol)
Well, there is also my inner part saying what if this whole trip would blow up because I was worried as hell if my emotions that time will be disturb (baru ambil SPM results kot!) But Alhamdulillah I didn't feel any of em because I WAS TOO EXCITED!! (nisu pernah ke tak excited? akulah paling semangat kalau ada any events to attend*eyes rolled*)

DAY 1 : MERAPI VOLCANO TOUR/MUSEUM AND RAMAYANA BALLET
We woke up early because our flight is at 9 a.m. if I am not mistaken. We took a cab to KLIA 2 because we were flying with AirAsiaX. Okay so about the tickets price my dad booked early through their website as they were having a promotion. The price was not that bad (aku serious ni) I strongly recommend all of you to book your flight tickets early like 21 days before? or even a month before. AirAsia's promotion might just blow your mind off!
As we reached the airport I couldn't think straight my mind was focusing on the places I am going soon! We did arrange our schedule through a website I'll link it down below. Their packages are really convenient as they show how much money that we need for every place that we wanna go.
we did the calculations in Malaysia so we prepared the money earlier. If you guys wanna know how much comment down below.
As we reached Yogja, we met our tourist guide name Wahyu. He is a very nice person I tell you. Oh and if you guys want him as the tour guide you can tell the owner of the website I gave up there that you want him to guide you all through the trip. HE IS SO SO GOOD IN SUGGESTING PLACES AND FOOD!! We didn't check in to our hotel yet because we thought it was way better to start off our tour. Wahyu did suggest us to go to Gunung Merapi first. (kalau ikutkan first day visit other places dulu but what can we do cuaca tak mengizinkan and the timing wasn't quite right)
As we were on our way to Merapi... it rained cats and dogs weiii (I almost cried lol) So when we arrived at Merapi luckily it starts to stop but still hujan sikit sikit. The track was a bit rough as we went through rocks and wet sand(basically the sand and rocks comes from the Merapi Lava so their government tak nak turap the jalan balik because they wanna maintain the leftovers from Merapi). You know what captivates me the most is when I reached there its so so so amazing after the place was fully corrupted by the lava the abu and stuffs for a decade i think, the place was greener i mean like its more fertile.
And so here I show you a bit of the pics I took when I was visiting the place. You see it breaks my heart to see that such houses yang berdiri gah, the animals, the cars, the people who didn't surive.. within a blink of an eye was gone forever.
Those rocks were from the Merapi. I could see the people here collect those rocks to build new homes and they even used these rocks to rebuild the candi.
Because of the wap or abu all of the plates, the iron, the toothbrush melts away. Just because of that. See how really hot it is! The paint from the house also got terhakis.
Now we had reach the bunker part. You see this bunker was created by the villagers as they believe that they would be secure when the lava hits but unfortunately they didn't make it :(
Well this rock is also one of the attractions when you visit Merapi Mountain. Due to the eruption the rock seems like a human
Twas the best moment yet riding on this American Style Jeep. Thumbs up!
I tell you I was getting a bit tired by 5p.m. In the car I slept soundly lol. So during the night we went to watch the Ramayana Ballet Show. It was really nice to know their legend. How the prince saves the princess and their jokes makes the whole people laugh! But what I like most is how an old lady mimics so many voices its so cool! The dances are 100 awesome! If you guys wanna watch it I recommend you guys to take the cheapest sit because its literally the same with the VIPS. Gentle tak tipu. They do have breaks for refreshment. Oh as for the foods I advice you guys to buy mineral water yeah the ones in the bottle. We didn't order the ones that have ice etc because its not clean..
I swear the moment they said "Thank you ladies and gentleman. If you want to take pictures with the actors you may" I stood up and rushed outside because I was exhausted really exhausted. We went back to our hotel and as soon as I reach our room... You know what? The pillow n the bed seems so cozy very cozy!! And so we slept early and fingers crossed praying to Allah that we will be able to see the beautiful sunrise on Day 2.
Well that ends our Day 1. X
